WWI BRITISH P14 ENFIELD BAYO-REMINGTON 1917-W/ WWII AUSTRALIAN SCABBARD

Description

Good condition original WWI British P14 Enfield bayonet that is maker marked “REMINGTON” on the left ricasso and dated “3 17” for March 1917. Blade has correct original metal finish of blued ricasso and remaining gray. Hilt is worn to mixed bright, gray, and brown. Wood grips have original finish and show some wear and handling marks. Fitted in an original WWII Australian P07 scabbard that is made of leather with steel throat and tip. Leather shows some wear and is marked “MANGROVITE ‘43”. Stitching and staples are tight. A nice P14 Enfield bayonet for your collection.
